Actuellement doctorant en chimie analytique à l'IFPEN (France), en partenariat avec l'université de Graz (Autriche), jusqu'au 23 octobre 2026.

Je m'intéresse particulièrement à la recherche appliquée, avec une volonté de contribuer à des projets ayant un impact industriel et sociétal.

A l’issue de mon doctorat, je souhaite poursuivre ma carrière dans le domaine de la recherche tout en maintenant un lien fort avec les besoins et enjeux du secteur industriel.

In this review (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jhazmat.2026.141977), we present a critical synthesis of analytical methods dedicated to PFAS in various plastic matrices, as part of the shift towards a circular plastics economy.

🔎 Key points we address:
- The importance of fluorine mass balance to support regulatory frameworks.
- The current lack of harmonized methods and suitable reference materials.
- The limitations of PFAS polymeric fraction consideration in analytical monitoring.
- The need to develop robust approaches for tracking PFAS in production and recycling streams.

We also highlight the analytical challenges related to PFAS speciation (both targeted and non-targeted). Finally, we discuss the potential of tools such as precursor assays (TOP, THP) and fluoropolymer characterization techniques.
