Emmanuela TERTULIANO MOREIRA DE SOUSA

I am a PhD student at IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN), in partnership with Université Grenoble Alpes, with a background in Electrical Engineering and Data Science. My research focuses on developing non-intrusive energy monitoring methods for industrial processes using machine learning and time-series analysis. More specifically, I investigate how process sensor data can be used to estimate and disaggregate steam consumption without requiring additional individual metering. This work is carried out within the DCARBO project of the PEPR SPLEEN program and aims to contribute to industrial decarbonization by improving energy monitoring, identifying inefficiencies and supporting more efficient operation of industrial systems.
