Marco Antonio BARREDA ESCALONA

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Cryoporometry

PhD student developing a theoretical and computational framework for pore size distribution recovery using NMR cryoporometry, combining kernel-based Tikhonov inversion with thermodynamic modeling of confined liquids in nanoporous media. Background in nuclear physics.

My research is supervised at IFP Energies Nouvelles (Marc Fleury) in collaboration with the University of Leipzig. I work on building physically-grounded kernels to invert NMR relaxation signals into accurate pore size distributions, with applications spanning energy materials, porous media characterization, and confined-fluid thermodynamics.
